On the 18th of April 2024, our school has been graciously invited to produce a performance titled “Ħal Perfett” for dignitaries are International Pisa delegates.

Ħal Perfett is a story about a Maltese village that strives to be recognized as the perfect village in the world by winning a Guinness World Record for the largest carpet of fireworks ever created. The story introduces a cast of characters who represent typical village life in Malta, exploring their trials and tribulations, all centered around the ‘festa’ (feast).
As the narrative unfolds, the audience comes to realize that not everything is as perfect as it seems—reminding us that not all that glitters is gold.
The choice of the Maltese feast as the central theme for this production was deliberate. The audience was immersed in the atmosphere of a Maltese village during its annual festa, enchanted by a spectacular display of music, dance, and vibrant colors.
- Maestro Raymond Zammit composed music that vividly captured the joy, excitement, and challenges of a Maltese festa.
- The Theatre Studies teachers scripted a play that reflects the beauty and anticipation surrounding the Maltese village feast.
- The Dance teachers choreographed an original, colorful, and explosive performance.
- Miss Mireille Camilleri, the professional and skilled Production Manager, expertly coordinated and directed the entire production.
- The Art teachers were responsible for the magnificent set design and its development.
- Finally, the Media Studies teachers handled the creation of the official event program and media coverage.
