The MVPA production ‘Insomnia’ by Year 11 Media students Francesca Grech, Keilen Xuereb, Krista Genovese and Gabriel Genovese under the supervision of Mr. Fabrizio Ellul won ‘Best Overall Film’ at the Jump Start Film Festival.
The short film also won for ‘Best Technical Direction’, as well as being nominated for best ‘Cinematography ‘ and best ‘Student award’ .
Over 30 short films were submitted to the Jump Start Film Festival across Malta and Gozo this year.
Last year the MVPA won for best direction.
